Over the past several years, Suburban Balance’s Equity & Social Advocacy Division has hosted groundbreaking Equity Forums to raise awareness around educational inequities and community leadership.

COLLABORATIONS
New Collaborations
Suburban Balance and United WE are excited to launch a collaborative partnership to support community members interested in running for local boards, commissions, and elected office.
With support from the Truman Heartland Community Foundation’s Racial Equity Action Fund, we’re working to create lasting change in Eastern Jackson County by expanding representation in decision-making spaces and ensuring diverse candidates are considered for leadership roles.
